Yulchon Honored with Prestigious Awards

Yulchon surpassed 1,000 employees last year and continues to excel at recruiting outstanding talent, while consistently receiving positive reviews from clients. This has resulted in numerous awards and accolades over the past year, including the following.


JoongAng Ilbo-KICA

The JoongAng Ilbo (Korea’s leading news organization) joined together with the Korean In-House Counsel Association (KICA) to rank Korea’s Best Lawyers.  Eleven Yulchon attorneys were recognized as top lawyers in Korea and an additional eight attorneys were recognized as rising stars.  This  recognition was the result of a comprehensive assessment by a highly selective evaluation committee composed of in-house lawyers. 


Hankyung Business

In a survey conducted by Hankyung Business, Korea’s prestigious economic daily, to identify outstanding law firms and lawyers, eight Yulchon lawyers were selected as Best Lawyers.  Furthermore, Yulchon won several awards in key categories, including Best in Service Excellence, recognizing the firm's professionalism and dedication to its clients.


Chambers and Partners

Chambers and Partners ranked Yulchon in Band 1 for four practice areas in the 2024 edition of its Asia-Pacific guide. Yulchon’s Competition/Antitrust, Shipping: Finance and Tax practices have been ranked Band 1 for six consecutive years, and this year, Dispute Resolution: Litigation was also recognized as Band 1 for the first time. Yulchon is also proud to note that 47 of our professionals were individually ranked in their respective practice areas on the basis of their legal knowledge and experience as well as their client service.
