Ryoo, Jong Kwon
Introduction
Jong Kwon Ryoo is a partner in the Corporate & Finance Practice at Yulchon. Mr. Ryoo received his LL.B. from Seoul National University and LL.M. from New York University School of Law. Mr. Ryoo specializes in advising multinational companies and major domestic and international private equity funds on a broad range of general corporate and transactional matters, including among others, cross-border M&A, foreign-direct investments, capital markets, corporate governance, and antitrust-related matters. Over the years, Mr. Ryoo has represented major domestic and international private equity funds in high profile domestic and cross-border transactions, and advised Korea’s public pension fund on numerous foreign investment transactions. Some of Mr. Ryoo’s areas of expertise include the cinema industry, the food and beverage industry, retail businesses, the mobile application industry, and environment-related sectors.
