Yulchon assisted a foreign automobile-component manufacturing company in handling ongoing labor-relations matters prompted by the formation of a union. We counselled the client in its negotiations with the union on a collective bargaining agreement. And our team also advised and assisted the company through the process of a special inspection by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, in response to union allegations of labor-law violations. We assisted the client with navigating the inspection process until a satisfactory conclusion was achieved, from the preparatory stage and through the company’s response to a corrective order from the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
