Jiweon Jeong is a senior advisor at Yulchon handling various labor and employment disputes and matters. With over 27 years of service at the Ministry of Employment and Labor, he has served as Director General, Division Director & Deputy Director, Spokesperson, and most recently as the Head of the Busan Labor Regional Office. Before then, as the Director General, he was in charge of the Bureau of Labor Standards and the Bureau of Labor Relations. He is recognized as a leading expert of labor relations and labor law, including labor standards law, labor union law, and non-regular workers law. He graduated from Yeongnam University, Seoul National University (School of Public Administration, Master Degree), and Michigan State University (School of Labor Relations & Human Resources, Master Degree).
