Yulchon advised a major financial institution in connection with a reorganization and workforce-reduction project involving hundreds of employees. Yulchon assisted the company from the very inception of the project, by formulating strategies and advising on all relevant legal issues. Our assistance contributed significantly to the ultimately highly successful implementation of the project, primarily through voluntary separation.
Yulchon was also successful, at the trial and intermediate-appellate levels, in defending the company against wrongful termination claims brought by several holdout employees. After we won a second time at the high court on remand—a rare achievement—the Supreme Court ultimately ruled in favor of the holdout employees.
