Young Su Shin and Sang Wook Cho at Yulchon have been recognized as “Lawyers of the Year 2016” by the Legal Times, a renowned Korean monthly legal magazine.
Every year, the Legal Times selects “Lawyers of the Year” in 17 areas for their achievements over the past year. Mr. Shin and Mr. Cho have been selected as the “Lawyer of the Year in Insurance Area” and the “Lawyer of the Year in Labor & Employment Area” respectively.
As the chair of Yulchon’s Insurance Team, Young Su Shin led a number of major deals such as Mirae Asset Life Insurance’s acquisition of PCA Life Insurance, Hanwha Life Insurance’s acquisition of Hanwha General Insurance and the disposal of KDB Life Insurance stocks. As the vice-chair of Yulchon’s Labor & Employment Team, Sang Wook Cho successfully defended Hyosung and Woori Bank in ordinary-wage-related disputes.
