Yulchon attorneys speak at the 2025 IAKL Conference in Seoul

The 2025 International Association of Korean Lawyers (IAKL) Conference, held in Seoul from September 25 to 26, included five Yulchon lawyers speaking in various topical sessions.
Mr. Jong Kwon RYOO spoke in the session “Global trends in Share Purchase Agreements,” addressing the evolving regulatory standards in global share purchase agreements.
Mr. Tae Eun LEE participated in the session “Korea’s Labor Landscape: International Alignment, Union Pressures, and Reinstatement Risks” and analyzed the major union issues as well as the implications of Yellow Envelope Act.
Mr. Ho Joon CHOO spoke on “Global IP Issues for Practitioners - Trends, Protection and Investigation” session, focusing on Korea’s regulatory regime concerning national core and strategic technologies.
Lastly, Mr. David MacArthur served as a panelist in the session “Navigating Geopolitical Risks in the Trump Era: A Cross-Border Legal Perspective” offering insights on geopolitical risks in cross-border legal practice, including challenges in compliance, dispute resolution and enforcement environments.
