Yulchon attorneys speak at the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum Biennial Conference

The IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum Biennial Conference was held last week in Singapore. Ms. Jeonghye Sophie AHN, Ms. Sun Hee KIM, and Mr. Jong Kwon RYOO participated in the key sessions as speakers.
Ms. AHN participated as a panelist in the “Potential legal issues arising from emergent technologies” and “Legal and policy issues in the use of economic sanctions” sessions and presented various legal issues arising from smart contracts and the impact and implications of recent changes in economic sanctions in the Asia Pacific region. Ms. KIM chaired the “Genetic information, biometric data and facial recognition – what does the future of privacy look like?” session and Mr. RYOO moderated the “Current developments in M&A and FDI in the Asia Pacific region” session.
Ms. KIM was appointed as a Treasurer of the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum, which was the conference host, for the years 2023-2024.
