Jay-Son (JS) Yang is a foreign attorney at Yulchon, LLC. Prior to Yulchon, Ms. Yang worked for Citibank Korea Inc. where she handled a wide range of corporate legal issues mainly in areas of corporate governance, financial regulations, and internal controls. Ms. Yang also advised on HR matters in such areas as employee relations, HR policies and internal investigations, as well as handling HR-related disputes and litigation. Ms. Yang has also represented foreign financial institutions in Korea in communicating with regulators to further legal advocacy and enhance the regulatory environment in Korea. From 2019 to 2020, Ms. Yang served as president of the In-House Counsel Forum, a nation-wide association of more than 2,000 corporate counsels in Korea. In 2021, Ms. Yang was appointed as a member of the Financal Development Deliberation Council, which is the advisory board of the Financial Services Commission.
