Introduction
Yulchon’s International Litigation and Government Investigation Team (“iLIT”) draws on the over 30 years of US Big Law and DOJ investigation experience of two main partners, along with the resources of one of Korea’s largest law firms to help clients when multi-jurisdiction disputes and government/regulatory investigations occur. iLIT team members have deep ties to large international law firms outside Korea, which allows engagement of local counsel or co-counsel in other countries. iLIT provides creative and cost-effective solutions to otherwise high-cost tasks such as responding to subpoenas, document review/production and witness interviews/preparations in the discovery process and conducting internal investigations. Outside of Korea, we deploy those resources with a focus on complex international litigation and arbitration, antitrust and government investigations. In Korea, we collaborate with our accomplished Korean litigators, including former judges and prosecutors, and other Korean lawyers with the necessary specialized experience for the specific dispute or regulatory matter. iLIT works closely with Yulchon’s other practice groups to harness the full capabilities of one of Korea’s largest full service firms.
