Yulchon provided legal advisory services to Energy Company “D” in Korea’s first arbitration case concerning a shareholder dispute over Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) obtained through Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects.
This case involved intensive legal debates on the legal nature of CERs and the factors to be considered in determining shareholding relationships for CERs.
