Yulchon contributes to the IBA’s Guide on Doing Business in the Asia Pacific

Mr. Seung Hyuck HAN, a partner in Yulchon’s Antitrust/Competition practice and Mr. Yong Whan CHOI, a partner in Yulchon’s Tax practice, contributed to the Doing Business in the Asia Pacific Guide, published by the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum. Mr. Han and Mr. Choi wrote chapters on Korean competition and tax law, respectively.
This IBA guide has been newly launched this year and will undergo updating every two years. The 2020 edition covers 11 jurisdictions, and deals with the legal precautions and cultural differences associated with doing business in the Asia Pacific region.
Several of Korea’s major law firms, such as Yulchon, took part in authoring the South Korea report, and the result is an informative overview of relevant laws and features worthy of note when doing business in South Korea.
