Yulchon is pleased to announce the addition of six new senior lawyers: Tae Hyeon Kim, Jeong Yeol Choe, Jeong Cheol Cho, Kum Ju Son, Su Jae Lee. Tae Hyeon Kim brings to Yulchon more than 25 years of experience as a public prosecutor. Prior to joining Yulchon, Mr. Kim served as Chief Public Prosecutor at the Busan District Public Prosecutor's Office and President of the Legal Research and Training Institute. He also held various other leadership positions as a public prosecutor, including serving as Head of the Criminal Trial and Civil Litigation Department at the Supreme Prosecutor's Office and Chief Public Prosecutor at the Ulsan District Public Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Kim graduated from Seoul National University and attended Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature in France.  

  

Jeong Yeol Choe is a former judge who served in several district courts, including the Incheon, Seoul, and Kunsan district courts. Before joining Yulchon, he also served as a professor at the Judicial Research and Training Institute and as a patent court judge. Mr. Choe graduated from Seoul National University and attended George Washington Law School. Mr. Choe authored several dissertations on copyright and patent law. He is a member of the Center for Law & Technology and the Korea Association for Infomedia Law. He has written patent law institution material as a professor for the Judicial Research and Training Institute and served on the patent attorney examination board. 

  

Jeong Cheol Cho is a former public prosecutor who served as a Superintendent Public Prosecutor. Mr. Cho graduated from Seoul National University and attended the Max Planck Institute for International Criminal Law. He has extensive legal experience in general corporate law, internal investigations, and litigation. 

  

Kum Ju Son is a former judge who served in several courts, including the Suwon, Seoul, Suncheon, and Dongbu district courts. He received an LL.B. and a Master of Laws degree from Seoul National University and attended the University of North Carolina School of Law. Mr. Son is member of the Center for Law & Technology and the Korea Association for Infomedia Law and has extensive legal experience in the areas of antitrust and competition, real estate and construction, telecommunications and broadcasting, litigation, and IP. 

  

Su Jae Lee is a former public prosecutor who served at both the Seoul Nambu and Yeongwol Prosecutor's Offices. Mr. Lee gained extensive litigation experience during his time as a public prosecutor. He graduated from Seoul National University, where he was a part of the Department of International Relations.
