Yulchon’s Real Estate Group advised three real estate funds managed by KTB Asset Management, Hyundai Swiss Asset Management, and Asia Asset Management on their successful sale of Platinum Tower, an office building whose ownership was divided among the funds to Mirae Asset Asset Management’s real estate trust in return for about 200 billion Korean Won. Platinum Tower is a prime office building with 20 ground floors and 7 basement floors (gross floor area 37,000 m²) located in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, Korea. Platinum Tower was opened in 1997, and its tenants include Shinhan Bank and Samsung Life.
The Real Estate Group provided comprehensive legal advice and intensively harnessed its resources throughout the transactions—from negotiation and execution of sale and purchase agreements to adjustment of land rights and building use rules in accordance with creation of divided building ownership.
