Introduction

Beom Chin An is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Practice at Yulchon. His primary areas of expertise are criminal defense and construction and real estate disputes. Prior to joining Yulchon, Mr. An served 19 years with the public prosecution. Most notably, while serving as the chief of the 8th Criminal Department of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, Mr. An handled many cases related to construction and real estate projects involving major Korean companies. He also worked for many years at the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, specializing in the areas of anti-corruption, human rights, and international affairs. Mr. An served as the deputy chief prosecutor at the Ansan Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office before leaving the public prosecution to join Yulchon in 2019.
