Real Estate Team advises Hyundai Asset Management on KRW230 billion acquisition of office building in London

Yulchon"s real estate team advised a real estate fund managed by Hyundai Asset Management Co., Ltd. in the acquisition of a skyscraper in London, U.K. for GBP128 million (approximately KRW230 billion). The acquisition was partially financed with funds borrowed from financial institutions in the UK and Germany. To increase tax efficiency, the shares of the company owning the building were acquired through special purpose companies.
This deal was handled by Bong Hee Han, Tae Jin Cha, Hui Yueon Kim and In Kim from the real estate team,with assistance from the tax team"s Kyu Dong Kim and Sang Woo Lee.
