M&A Team Advises Hantec Engineering on Acquisition of Kangwon B&E

Yulchon's M&A team advised Hantec Engineering Co., Ltd. on its KRW 14.7 billion acquisition of Kangwon B&E Co., Ltd. Both companies are listed on the KOSDAQ market. This deal is expected to create synergies by combining Kangwon's technical capabilities in industrial energy facilities with Hantec's strength in manufacturing energy and environmental facilities. The combined companies are also expected to take a leading role in the nuclear energy and environment-related businesses. Partners Sang Wook Cho and Sung Jin Kim led Yulchon's advisory team.
