In a survey conducted by Donga Ilbo, one of Korea’s leading newspapers, Yulchon’s antitrust and tax groups stood out for their excellence and quality. The newspaper surveyed legal departments at 50 of Korea’s largest corporations and Yulchon won the top spot in Korea for tax and antitrust matters. The Donga Ilbo pointed out Yulchon’s success in numerous high-profile antitrust cases, such as the firm’s representation of GS Caltex during the KFTC’s recent investigation into the domestic LPG market. The article also noted that the firm has grown twentyfold in the last 13 years, which prompted ALB to select the firm as one of the top 30 rapidly growing law firm in Asia for the last two consecutive years.
