Yulchon Maintains Elite Tier in GCR 100 2026

2025.11.28.

Yulchon has been ranked as an “Elite” law firm in the GCR 100 2026, published by Global Competition Review (GCR), marking its 25th consecutive year in the highest tier for competition law expertise.

This recognition reflects Yulchon’s outstanding track record in high-profile and complex competition matters, including its advisory role to Ansys on its USD 35 billion acquisition by Synopsys, one of the largest cross-border technology transactions to date. Yulchon is also representing Evergreen and Sinokor Merchant Marine in connection with the Korea Fair Trade Commission’s ongoing investigation into the container shipping cartel, and acting for LG Uplus in relation to the KFTC’s investigation into alleged subsidy collusion among the three major telecom operators.

The GCR 100 is an annual guide that evaluates the competition law capabilities of leading law firms around the world and publishes country-specific rankings across three tiers: Elite, Highly Recommended, and Recommended. For the 2026 edition, GCR conducted independent research and interviews across firms in 61 jurisdictions to identify leading practices in competition law.
