Yulchon Recognized in the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Asia-Pacific 2023 Report

Yulchon continued its strong showing in the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Asia Pacific Report 2023.
Yulchon was ranked the 11th most innovative law firm in Asia in the FT Innovative Lawyers AP Report. The firm was recognized as a “Standout” in the “Most Innovative Lawyers in Digital Assets” category for its representation of Bithumb in Korea’s biggest crypto exchange dispute over Wemix delisting. Additionally, Onyul’s support project for economic independence of North Korean refugee women also received a “Standout” in the “Innovation in Responsible Business” category. Two other projects – launch of Line’s first NFT platform and e-Yulchon’s legal tech service – were “Commended” in the report.
In particular, Partner Ik Hyun Kim was interviewed for his leadership and expertise in leading the crypto exchange dispute case.
The FT Asia Pacific Innovative Lawyers Awards celebrates the most innovative legal work in the region from both international and Asia-Pacific headquartered law firms. Looking beyond “the usual criteria of measuring lawyers by revenues, profits or deal sizes,” the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards seeks to recognize “the real value that lawyers deliver to business and reward the lawyers consistently furthering the interests of their clients, their own firms and the profession itself.”
