Yulchon’s Cecil Saehoon Chung participated in the June 2021 OECD Competition Meeting, held virtually from June 7 to June 11, 2021. In particular, as an Advisor to the Competition Committee of Business at OECD (BIAC), Mr. Chung submitted a written contribution as a principal co-author and formally attended the session on “Data Portability, Interoperability and Competition” held on June 9, 2021.
Since his August 2019 appointment to the Competition Committee at BIAC, an official OECD-recognized international business voice to the OECD, Mr. Chung has actively participated in various OECD competition projects and initiatives, including participating in the December 2019 OECD Competition Meeting held at the OECD Headquarters in Paris and co-authoring a written contribution to the roundtable session on “Access to the Case File and Protection of Confidential Information,” submitting and presenting a sole-authored written contribution entitled “Criminalization of Cartels and Bid Rigging Conspiracies” at the virtually held June 2020 Meeting, and attending and submitting a co-authored written submission entitled “Economic Analysis in Merger Investigations” to the virtually held December 2020 Meeting.
