Yulchon Named to the GCR 100 for 18th Consecutive Year

2019.02.12.

For the 18th consecutive year, Global Competition Review 100 (GCR 100), awarded Yulchon’s Antitrust & Competition Practice with an “Elite” ranking, its highest classification, in its 2019 edition. The Global Competition Review (“GCR”) is the world’s leading journal for competition law.

Each year, GCR selects firms for inclusion in the GCR 100 based on a qualitative analysis of the world’s leading antitrust practices. GCR 100 ranks selected law firms into one of two categories: “Elite” and “Highly Recommended,” and Yulchon has once again been selected as an Elite antitrust practice in Korea.

GCR praised Yulchon as one of the most talented competition practice groups in the country, citing several major competition cases Yulchon handled, including our successful reversal of the KFTC’s administrative fine decision against Continental Automotive.

GCR also noted Yulchon’s handling of some of the largest global joint venture and merger control matters, including representation of Delta Air Lines in its joint venture with Korean Air, which is the first of its kind in Korea, and Praxair’s business swap with Linde. We congratulate our talented professionals in the Antitrust & Competition practice for this well-deserved recognition of their exceptional work.
