The Ministry of Environment (“MoE”) recently announced major environmental policy changes that will take effect in 2025. These include a comprehensive overhaul of the emissions trading system, alignment of the chemical management system with international standards, and the localized transformation of the environmental impact assessment system, each of which has the potential to substantially impact business activities.
