Labor Policies: Aftermath of the Election and Three Pending Supreme Court Cases

Securing 192 seats in the April 10th election, the opposition coalition led by the Democratic Party will retain its majority in the 22nd National Assembly. The Yoon Administration’s labor reform goals now appear to have significantly faded, and various labor policies led by the opposition and demanded by labor unions, such as the “Yellow Envelope Act,” are likely to see movement in the legislature.
