Yulchon successfully advised Hillhouse Capital Management (“Hillhouse”), China’s largest venture capital investor, on Hillhouse’s further participation in the Series E funding round of Market Kurly, one of Korea’s top online food delivery and logistics platform startups. On top of the existing 7% equity ownership held by Hillhouse, the new investment made Hillhouse hold approximately 12% equity interest of Market Kurly. Hillhouse contributed KRW 37 billion (app. USD 30 million) in Market Kurly at this investment round in the consideration of the additional 5% equity.

Yulchon advised Hillhouse to navigate through the entire investment process, negotiate with Market Kurly on the amended shareholders agreement and complete the subscription process.
