Yulchon Successfully Represented Korea Investment Partners on Its Investment in Convertible Bonds Issued by Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Nasdaq-Listed Company

Yulchon represented Korea Investment Partners and Timefolio Asset Management (the "Asset Managers") and successfully consummated a transaction in which the Asset Managers, through the funds they manage, acquired convertible bonds in the amount of KRW 18 billion (the "CBs") issued by Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed company (the "Company").
The Company, a U.S. biotech company which develops DNA vaccines and medicines for the prevention and treatment of cancer and infectious diseases, plans to conduct a global phase III clinical trial of a medicine under development with the funds raised by the issuance of the CBs.
Yulchon assisted throughout the entire process of the transaction, including reviewing the transaction structure, drafting and negotiating the transaction documents, and advising on the procedures relating to the foreign exchange report.
