Yoon Jung Chun is a senior consultant in the Financial Regulation Team at Yulchon LLC who practices primarily in the areas of digital finance, fintech, information security, financial information protection, financial data, and AI. Ms. Chun earned her B.S. in Mathematics and M.S. in Computer Science from Yonsei University. Ms. Chun began her career in information security and digital finance reaching various high-level managerial roles, including team leader of the overseas security team at NCSOFT, manager of the Information Technology R&D Center at SK Telecom Co. Ltd., and manager of the Information Security Office at Shinhan Bank. Thereafter, with the skills and industry expertise she gained working in the private sector, Ms. Chun then transitioned to the public sector working at the Financial Supervisory Service from 2014 for about 11 years. At the Financial Supervisory Service, Ms. Chun worked in various departments including the IT Supervision Office, IT Fintech Strategy Department, Information Strategy Office, Digital Innovation Department, and the Electronic Finance Examination Department. Ms. Chun joined Yulchon in 2026.
