Introduction
Ung Young Choi joined Yulchon in 2023 after serving as judges for 19 years at various courts, including the Seoul Eastern District Court in 2004 (judge), Seoul High Court (judge), Seoul Central District Court(judge), National Court Administration(Director of Judicial Policy), Changwon District Court(Presiding Judge), and lastly the Seoul High Court (High Court Judge, Director of Planning Affairs). Mr. Choi has obtained extensive experience and expertise in corporate and financial disputes while working at the commercial and corporate cases division and criminal affairs division of the Seoul High Court and the Seoul Central District Court for 5 years and also at bankruptcy division of the Seoul Central District Court (currently the Seoul Bankruptcy Court) for 3 years. In addition, he handled warrants, criminal trials, applications and appeals at various district courts such as Seoul, Sungnam, Cheonan and Changwon, and he was also in charge of judicial administration while serving as a director of public relations and a director of planning affairs at the National Court Administration, the Seoul High Court and the Seoul Central District Court.
