Sung Ho Kim is a partner at Yulchon LLC. Mr. Kim received an LL.B. from Seoul National University. After completing his training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, he started his career as a prosecutor at the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office in 2004. Mr. Kim served in key positions within the prosecution, and worked in the Gangneung Branch of the Chuncheon District Prosecutors' Office, the Busan District Prosecutors' Office, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office, the Ministry of Justice Immigration and Foreigner Policy Headquarters, and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Japan (Legal Cooperation Officer). Before joining Yulchon in February 2026, Mr. Kim served as Chief of the Sangju Branch of the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office, Head of the Policy Planning Team at the Ministry of Justice, and Chief Prosecutor of Criminal Division #1 at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office from 2021. While serving as a prosecutor, Mr. Kim investigated and prosecuted various cases, with a special focus on finance, tax, anti-corruption, and labor matters. He lived in Japan for approximately seven years and during that time accumulated regional expertise in Japan-related matters as well.
