Introduction
Sam Cheol Park is a senior advisor at Yulchon who primarily focuses on corporate & finance and general corporate matters. Before joining Yulchon in December 2011, Mr. Park spent more than 20 years at the Financial Supervisory Service, where he held positions as team head, deputy director and eventually director. In 2001, Mr. Park published the first commentary on fund (investment trust) regulations in Korea and in 2008 jointly translated Lee Gremillion’s Mutual Fund Industry Handbook.Mr. Park also lectures on capital markets law and funds at the Korea Financial Investment Association, the Korea Banking Institute, and universities. Currently, Mr. Park serves as a vice chairman of the Korea Financial Law Association.
