Introduction

Nan Hyung Kim is a partner in the Real Estate and Construction Practice Group at Yulchon LLC. After passing the 18th JAG Officer Examination in 2004 and completing the Judicial Research and Training Institute in 2007, she served in various key positions, including as military prosecutor, military judge, and litigation officer. Her experience spans international legal affairs and defense-related matters, including roles at the ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command, the Korean Embassy in the U.S., the UN Secretariat (Office of the Special Coordinator on Improving the UN Response to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse), and the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA). Since May 2025, she has been practicing at Yulchon LLC, focusing on defense procurement, public contracts, and international legal advisory services.
