Park, Ji Woong
Introduction
Ji Woong Park is a partner at Yulchon who practices primarily in the areas of tax and finance, legislative strategies and corporate risk management. Mr. Park received a B.A. in International Relations (2004) and LL.M. (2011) from Seoul National University. Mr. Park has extensive experience dealing with tax and financial matters, legislation and policy issues gained through positions he held in a political party, the executive branch, and the legislative branch. After completing the training program of the Judicial Research and Training Institute (2008), Mr. Park worked as a Judge Advocate in the Korean Army (2008-2012), Senior Secretarial Officer in the National Assembly (2012-2014), Research Fellow in the Democratic Party (2015-2017, 2020), Policy Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister in the Ministry of Economy and Finance (2017-2020), partner attorney at Yulchon (2020-2021), Assistant Secretary to the President for Political Affairs in the Presidential Secretary Office (2021-2022), and Senior Administrative Officer in the Office of Senior Secretary to the President for Civil Affairs (2025). He rejoined Yulchon in 2025.
