Introduction
Mr. Jae Hwan Shin joined Yulchon in 2024 after serving as judges for 19 years at various courts, including Uijeongbu District Court in 2005 (judge), Seoul Central District Court (Director of Public Relations for criminal cases), Jeju District Court (Presiding Judge), Incheon District Court (Presiding Judge), Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge), Judicial Research & Training Institute (Professor), and lastly National Court Administration(Director of Planning Affairs).Mr. Shin handled various important criminal cases as a presiding judge such as corporate criminal cases, anti-corruption, economy and environment cases. He also handled various civil cases including real estate and construction, finance, intellectual property, and M&A disputes. In addition, while serving at the National Court Administration, Mr. Shin was in charge of planning, budgeting, and organizational management of the entire Korean judiciary system. Based upon his diverse experience and expertise, Mr. Shin deals with a wide range of litigations as a partner in the Dispute Resolution Practice at Yulchon.
