Introduction
Ms. Hyun Joo Chai worked at the Korea Exchange for approximately 32 years before joining Yulchon in March 2023. Ms. Chai is a renowned expert on capital market and financial products with extensive first-hand working knowledge having held various positions at the Korea Exchange in the KOSPI Market Division, KOSDAQ Market Division, Derivatives Market Division and the Management Strategy Division. Ms. Chai was recognized for her business acumen and served as the team head of the Derivatives Development Team, Bond Listing Disclosure Team, General Bond Market Team, and Securities Product Development Team. In addition, Ms. Chai held a number of key high-ranking posts including the director of the Corporate Disclosure Department of the KOSPI Market Division and the Public Relations and Human Resources Department of the Management Strategy Division since 2015, as well as the executive director of the KOSDAQ Market Division and the Management Strategy Division since 2020. In particular, Ms. Chai served in the Disclosure Committee and the Corporate Review Committee as the executive director in charge of corporate disclosures and substantive qualitative examinations of the eligibility of KOSDAQ-listed corporations. Ms. Chai is acknowledged for having expanded the base of the KONEX and KOSDAQ markets as she actively supported the listings of KONEX–listed corporations on the KOSDAQ market.
