Introduction
Hae Il Jung is currently a senior advisor at the law firm Yulchon, in the Real Estate & Construction Practice. He graduated from the literature department of the Korea Military Academy and completed his Master's degree in International Relations at Bond University in Australia. Afterwards, he completed his PhD in International Politics at the Joint Staff College in the United States and at Kyungnam University. He has worked as a presidential security adviser, commander of the UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon, policy director at the Army Headquarters, policy director at the Korea-U.S. Combined Forces Command, and military strategy director at the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He also served as a military aide to the Minister of National Defense. After that, he served as the commander of the 27th Infantry Division, the director of the Education and Training Command, and the president of the National Defense University.
