Do Tae Kang is a senior advisor at Yulchon, specializing in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and related sectors. During his 30-year career at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Mr. Kang held key positions in health and social policy, including the Administrative Officer for the Presidential Task Force on Quality of Life Enhancement, the Director for Administrative and Legal Affairs, the Director General for Health Insurance Policy, the Director General for Social Policy Innovation, the Director General for Health Insurance Policy, the Healthcare Policy Officer, the Deputy Minister for Healthcare Policy and Deputy Minister for Planning and Coordination. From 2020 to 2021, he served as the inaugural 2nd Vice Minister of Health and Welfare, playing a central role in promoting national health insurance policies and managing the COVID-19 response. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the Chair of the National Health Insurance Service. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Korea University, an M.A. in Public Administration from Seoul National University, and a Ph.D. from CHA University. Mr. Kang joined Yulchon as a Senior Advisor in March 2026.
