Introduction
Mr. Dae-Hee Yoon received his B.A. in Business Administration from Seoul National University in 1973 and passed the 17th Senior Entrance Examination for Administrative Service in 1975. He also received his M.A. in Economics from the Graduate School of University of Kansas in 1982, and Ph.D. in Economics from the Graduate School of Kyung Hee University in 2006. He started his career in the Economic Planning Board, Fair Trade Commission, Ministry of Finance and Economy, Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations at Geneva, Office of the President and the Prime Minister of South Korea, and served as the Senior Secretary to the President for Economic Affairs of the Blue House, and the 12th Minister of the Office for Government Policy Coordination. He led the execution of the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement during his term of Senior Secretary and the “Medium-and Long-Term Plan for Climate Change” during his term of minister. He then served as the chair professor at Gachon University, outside director at Korea Exchange, Doosan, and LG, and supervisory director at Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund, head of the alumni association of his alma mater Jemulpo High School and chairman at Korea Credit Guarantee Fund. He was also the head of the South Korean delegation of the Knowledge Sharing Program to Vietnam, laos, Ghana, Ethiopia, and Columbia. Now he serves as the senior advisor in the economic field at Yulchon and mainly advises on lawsuits in the economic field.
