Yulchon is pleased to announce that Hyeon Hwa SHIN has been named to ALB Asia Top 15 Female Lawyers 2026, published by Asian Legal Business (ALB), a Thomson Reuters publication.

Each year, ALB recognizes 15 outstanding female lawyers across Asia based on their professional achievements, market reputation, and client and peer feedback. This year's list includes only two lawyers from Korea.

In profiling Shin, ALB noted that she "leverages 23 years of corporate and insurance expertise to guide complex deals" as a Seoul-based partner and Co-head of Yulchon's M&A Practice.

Over the course of her career, Shin has advised on numerous landmark transactions across M&A, banking and finance, capital markets, and insurance. Her representative matters include advising Prudential Financial on the sale of Prudential Life Insurance Korea and Shinsegae on the establishment of its joint venture with Alibaba.

The latest recognition follows her selection as South Korea Female Lawyer of the Year by asialaw in 2025, underscoring the continued recognition of her expertise and market leadership by leading international legal publications.

With this latest recognition, Yulchon has continued to produce ALB Asia Top Female Lawyers honorees in recent years, reflecting the firm's internationally recognized female leadership and legal expertise.
