Legal advice to Catalina Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd. on acquisition of Asia Capital Reinsurance Group Pte. Ltd.

Yulchon assisted Catalina Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd. (“Catalina Holdings”) in its project to acquire Asia Capital Reinsurance Group Pte. Ltd. (“ACR”). This was an important transaction for Catalina Holdings since it intends use ACR as a hub to build a strong Asian run-off platform.
As legal counsel in Korea, Yulchon provided comprehensive and effective legal assistance to Catalina Holdings for this transaction, including performing legal due diligence, executing all definitive agreements and reviewing relevant regulatory requirements, as well as advising on HR related issues and other requirements related to closing.
A number of complex cross-border, regulatory, and HR-related issues added complexity to this matter. Throughout the deal, Yulchon provided effective strategies and action plans for Catalina Holdings to successfully resolve each issue as it arose and bring this transaction to a successful close.
