USD30,000,000 loan provided to E-Land Asia Holdings Pte. Ltd.

Yulchon successfully represented Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore Branch, Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch and DB Trustees (Hong Kong) Limited (together, the "Lenders") as well as Korea Trade Insurance Corporation ("K-sure") in connection with the USD30,000,000 loan provided to E-Land Asia Holdings Pte. Ltd. (the "Borrower"), a company based in Singapore. The Borrower"s obligations under the loan facility was guaranteed by Eland World Limited ("Eland") based in Korea.
Yulchon assisted from the documentation and negotiation stage until the drawdown, reviewing and negotiating the terms of the finance documents from a Korean law perspective and assisting with the closing process.
In particular, Yulchon"s team put in place a Chinese Wall that adequately protected the interests of all the parties which was achieved through effective communication with the domestic and international advisors of the Lenders, K-sure and Eland which in turn lead to a successful consummation of the transaction.
This deal was led by partner Young Jae Shin, Hyeon Hwa Shin and Jung Pyo Seo.
