Yulchon"s Real Estate & Construction Group advised Mirae Asset Global Investments on the acquisition of 2550 M Street, an office building located in Washington D.C., U.S.A. via a U.S. subsidiary of a real estate fund established by Mirae Asset in Korea.
The Real Estate & Construction Group provided legal advice on the investment structure for optimum tax effect in compliance with applicable Korean laws and regulations including the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act, as well as comprehensive advice throughout the transactions from the review of the due diligence report and relevant agreements to the assistance with the closing of the deal.
Under the leadership of Bong Hee Han, head of the Real Estate & Construction Group, Tae Jin Cha, Jin Seok Choi and Jae Hyong Woo of Real Estate & Construction Group, Il Soon Han of the Corporate & Finance Group and Kyu Dong Kim of the Tax Group worked together to successfully close the deal.
