Yulchon Advised KB Kookmin Bank in Its Acquisition of Shares of PT Bank Bukopin Tbk

Yulchon has provided a full range of legal services to KB Kookmin Bank in the course of the transaction, including structuring the transaction, performing due diligence, drafting and negotiating the purchase agreement and other ancillary agreements and assisting in the closing.
With the acquisition, KB Kookmin Bank has become Bank Bukopin’s second-largest shareholder and is re-entering the Indonesian market 10 years after it sold its stake in Bank International Indonesia to Malaysia’s Maybank in 2008.
Yulchon’s advisory team included Tehyok Daniel Yi, Sun Hee Kim, Min Taek Lim, Ji Hye Ryu, Beom Sang Lim and Hwan Jun Heo.
