Kwan Woo Kim joined Yulchon after working at the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) for over 20 years. Mr. Kim is an expert in the field of industrial safety who has also instructed many other domestic safety experts while teaching as a professor at the Occupational Safety & Health Education Institute. He also developed a health-and-safety management-system certification standard (KOSHA-MS) designed to enable the establishment of safety-management systems required by the Severe Accidents Penalties Act, and he has performed many risk assessments, safety assessments of dangerous machinery and equipment, and safety-rating evaluations of public institutions.
