Mr. Chan-Hee Lee received his LL.B. and LL.M. and completed S.J.D. program at Yonsei University. After passing the bar examination in 1998 and completing the course at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Mr. Lee has engaged in various pro bono activities, such as a special investigating officer for the Independent Counsel's Office, a member of the police reform committee, a columnist for the Law Times, a director of the Korean Bar Association and the Seoul Bar Association, and a member of the human rights committee, in addition to his work as a lawyer. Before joining Yulchon in March 2021, Mr. Lee served as the president of the Seoul Bar Association from January 2017 to December 2018, and the president of the Korean Bar Association from February 2019 to February 2021. Mr. Lee has an extensive expertise in issues relating to North Korea issues and inter-Korean economic cooperation. After teaching at Hongik University and Gachon University, Mr. Lee is currently an adjunct professor at Yonsei University giving lectures on North Korean law and Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Act, and he is also serving as the head of the unification legislation subcommittee of the National Unification Advisory Council. Mr. Lee also specializes in the field of entertainment as he has extensive experience in dealing with various cases while acting as a member of the Korea Media Rating Board, an arbitrator in the Korea Commercial Arbitration Board and a mediator in the Seoul Central District Court.
