Byung Soo Yang is senior advisor at Yulchon LLC who provides comprehensive tax advices from preliminary diagnosis to tax investigation response regarding inheritance/gift tax issues related to family inheritance, sources of funding, and stock changes, etc. After passing the 35th Grade 5 Civil Service Exam, Mr. Yang built experiences in the areas of income/corporate taxation, tax investigation, legal interpretation, appeal cases and in particular, all areas of asset taxation. He introduced the “advance tax ruling system” and further settled “advisory system of taxation standards” and “advisory system of taxation judgement” as preliminary and procedural control system for tax investigations. In addition, Mr. Yang served as professor for General Principle of Taxation at the National Tax Officials Training Institute for many years while maintaining interest for protection of taxpayer rights through procedural due process. After his service as Commissioner of National Tax Service (NTS) Daejeon Regional Office in 2018, Mr. Yang has joined Yulchon LLC providing service of excellence based on his extensive experiences and knowledge in law, public administration, economics, management and IC technology.
