Advised on Distributor's Civil Accident Issues under the Serious Accidents Punishment Act

Yulchon's C&F and Litigation team advised CDS Korea on Distributor's Civil Accident issues in connection with the enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act (the "SAPA").
The Yulchon team provided the compliance report to CDS Korea analyzing if the business of the client is subject to the SAPA and how to mitigate such risks in the event of a serious civil accident during the company's promotion activities at Costco stores in Korea. In addition, the Yulchon team CDS Korea with advising on fulfilling safety and health obligations as required in the SAPA with regard to the serious civil accidents taking place during the process of distribution and sales of products of the client.
The Yulchon team advised on all aspects of the potential scenarios of serious civil accidents and justifiable grounds not to be punished if any arose by assisting the client with fulfilling the safety and health obligations udner the SAPA.
