Antitrust Team Advises on Formation of Joint Venture Between Honam Petrochemicals and Mitsui Chemical

Yulchon's Antitrust Team successfully advised Honam Petrochemical Corporation and Mitsui Chemical Inc. on the formation by the two companies of a polypropylene catalyst joint venture company (tentatively named Honam Mitsui Chemical).
Yulchon advised the parties in the preparation and submission of the relevant antitrust filing, which was submitted within a very short period, and timely obtained approval of the Korea Fair Trade Commission.
Partner Sung Wook Eun of Yulchon's Antitrust Team led the Yulchon team, which included associates Seung Hyuck Han, Hee Sung Jo and foreign attorney Sang Wook Daniel Han.
