Since joining Yulchon in 2008, Vadim Hwajoon Lee has dealt with a wide range of matters relating to M&A, overseas investment, energy, natural resource development and international dispute resolution. He represents Korean private and state-owned companies in major transactions, including project development, joint ventures, and M&A in Russia and other former Soviet Union countries. Prior to joining to Yulchon he served as a military legal officer at Republic of Korea Army Headquarters and Defense Acquisition Program Administration of Korea. He is the chairman of the Korean-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an advisor to the Russian Embassy in Seoul, an arbitrator of the International Commercial Arbitration Board under the Russian Federal Chamber of Commerce, a member of the International Council of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan, and an outside director of Sidiz Inc. He also served as an expert member of the Presidential Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation.
